Introduction

Bully was the cover star for Issue 21, with a world exclusive review of the Wii title. Martin praised the gameplay as well as the soundtrack of the game, although as it was essentially a port of the PS2 title it suffered a bit in the graphics department. Smash Bros Brawl also got an import review this month, with Matthew covering many aspects of the much hyped game, including all the characters, many of the modes, and much of the first hour of the game - scoring it an excellent 93%. No More Heroes also got a UK release, again scoring an excellent 94% - there was also an interview with the producer of No More Heroes Goicha ‘Suda 51’ Suda, talking about the ins and outs of his unique game. There wasn’t much of note on DS, as the Japanese version of Exit DS scored 81%.

In the news this month, they looked at the usual reports that video games were bad for us, and provided evidence to the contrary, such as Trauma Centre helping surgeon’s motor skills and games like Brain Training, specifically made to help with gamers' health. Lego Indiana Jones on Wii was the big preview, with a look at the latest in Traveller's Tales Lego Licensed film tie-ins. THey also looked at DS games Sonic Chronicles and Assassins Creed, as well as Pro Evo 2008 on Wii.

There was also a deep look into WiiWare, showcasing the games and software due to be released on the console - comparing it to XBLA and the Playstation Store. They scored many of the 100 WiiWare titles that had been released so far. Another feature this month looked at Nintendo Hell - showcasing some of the hardest games Nintendo have ever released - that included classic games like the Japanese version of Mario Bros 2, and newer games like Guitar Hero and Mario Galaxy.

Within World of Nintendo - as well as the Suda 51 interview there was also a quick guide to the Advance Wars Dark Conflict, showcasing the units introduced in the game as well as a few general tips. Another feature looked at some obscure box-art from some weird Japanese games with Martin and Matthew discussing what on earth they could represent. In the Download section, the history lesson looked at some of the smaller companies they hadn’t featured before, like Kemco, Atlus and Sunsoft. The classic level looked at the world map of A Link to the Past, showing some of the main locations in the game. This month's Virtual Console Essential was 1080 Snowboarding - very much a classic in its own right.
