Introduction

Christmas 2007 brought Mario Galaxy to the Wii, with Matthew playing the game in full, and giving it 97% making it one of the best games on Wii and giving high praise to almost every aspect of the game. Also reviewed in this issue was Guitar Hero 3, with Martin giving it 91%, and praising it as the best two player game since the Wii’s launch and Wii sports. Lego star wars the complete saga also got 90% and endless ocean 88%.

In the news this month were the rumours that Bungie could develop a Halo game for DS, as well as a look into Nintendo’s pre Christmas update to their wii games and feature library. There were also previews of Mario Kart Wii, Smash Bros Brawl and they looked at the imminent launch of WiiWare amongst many others.

As a tribute to Mario Galaxy, the team also looked at the top 10 Galactic Moments as well as tips for Metroid Prime 3 and the Phantom Hourglass. In the download section the history lesson looked at games from Shoot em up specialist Treasure and features the Little States in their second classic level.
