Introduction

The cover game this month was Hybrid Heaven, a little known action RPG from Tokyo. With issue 26, the Game Boy finally got the space it deserved, with 16 pages devoted to it in Planet Game Boy. This new feature covered all the new releases on Game Boy Color, alongside a bit of retro content. They also delved into the world of Pokemon. In this issue the magazine launched their great multiplayer extravaganza, with players across the country competing against the magazine's staff. There wasn't much in terms of UK reviews this month, but the team got their hands on the Japanese version of Smash Bros and gave it 90%. There were also interviews with people who had (and hadn’t) managed to get their hands on Zelda at launch.
