Introduction

For October the team visited Psygnosis in Liverpool to look at Wipeout 64 and ODT. Wipeout was almost ready for release, but ODT never actually made it to general release. The team also visited Ubisoft in both Canada and London to Play TOnic Trouble, Hype and SCARS. There were amazingly 7 UK releases this month, the stars of the show being ISS ‘98, F1 Grand Prix (scoring an amazing 93%) and Mortal Kombat 4. At the back of the mag, Japanese correspondent Max reviewed Pocket Monsters Stadium, and despite the language barrier gave it 85%. It was another sign of Pokemon fever coming over to the UK market.
